Benefits of Networking

How often have you worked for a company and heard the phrase “it’s not what you know, but who you know”?  This is a prime example of and demonstrates the importance of building rapport and relations with your colleagues. Your network can include anyone from friends and family to work colleagues or that from any groups such as sporting teams, interest based, community, professional or religious associations such as alumni etc. Good networking has a basis of trust and support and can assist you with building your career or expanding your business and connections.  It’s about building trust and helping one another towards goals.  Regularly engaging with contacts assists in identifying opportunities for growth.
